TWO TIPS TO EFFORTLESSLY PULL OFF THAT PARISIAN STYLE…

Parisian style inspirationOne style that is seen paraded often on social media is the Parisian style. I have seen lots of ladies modelling this style on the gram and I adore the different individual style approaches. Three accessories that seem to be a consistent choice for this style are berets, scarves and bags. Does that mean that without these accessories Parisian style isn’t fully defined? Share your thoughts in the comment below. What I’ve notice is that it is all about attitude and effortlessness when it comes to styling this look. French women like minimalism. Upon analyse I’ve come to the conclusion that these two tips are the only tips one needs to create this style. Lol!!

* Don’t Overdo It! *

Parisian style can be seen as boring due to its minimalism and well controlled uniform look, -but sometimes less is more. While Parisians throw in colour here and there, this style is known for favouring elegant colours and silhouettes. This is an effortless style, but it speaks volume in the way that it’s put together. A French lady could be seen in something as simple as jeans and t-shirt, but it all comes down to the way it is styled and accessorized. Accessories like berets, brooches, printed scarf or a classic black ladies bag will add that sweet “je ne sais quoi” to it.

* Don’t Be Afraid To Experiment! *

Style is like cooking! Almost everyone can cook, but it is how they do it or what ingredients they use that makes the dish tasty. My lasagne and your lasagne might taste different, but the look (style) stays the same. -And this is what makes style interesting. The fact that everyone have their own style is inspiring. So while Parisians might have their signature style, don’t be afraid to put your spin on it.

* #OOTD *

Every piece I’m wearing here is old and soldout. I styled this look for church before lockdown was forced on us. Ha!! What do you think of this look? Any tips on how to put together a stylish Parisian outfit?

    It a beautiful outfit that looks fabulous on you! I love that both the top and the skirt gave ruffles, but neither is too overdone. The pop of red in the beret is perfect!

    Excellent tips!
    I love tiered fashions, polka dots, ruffles,
    and love the outfit you styled and were wearing in the photos above!
    The ruffles at the neckline of that top,
    and the tiered polka-dot skirt look wonderfully feminine and pretty together.
    The red beret adds a nice pop of colour.
    You look absolutely fabulous!

    Love this!

    Oh I LOVE this Parisian look! I am a big fan of French girl style. I love the effortlessness and the attention to quality and the easy breezy no make up look they tend to embrace. I have a top super similar to this and never to wear it off the shoulder, I should try this!

    You say : “every piece I’m wearing here is old” …that’s the beauty of these pieces OLD but CLASSIC and NEVER go out of style. You are rocking the Parisian style perfectly. I think you have to invest in a beret to complete any chic Parisian look.
