It is officially Fall season and the UK is also back to its rainy behaviour. While I’m not here for the cold, I actually don’t mind it. It is the rain and the darkness that annoys me. I hate the short days with passion. Kinda depressing if you ask me. Anyways… lets talk about summer and one of the events I attended. Y’all know summer is festival season in almost every part of the world and my town was no different. The annual Caribbean festival was held last month and while I wasn’t too keen to go, I had to do it for my little man (the things we do as parents). The last time I attended was three years ago. Each year something bad happens at this event and I’m not a fan of that. Anyways it was good I attended because I got the chance to meet fellow blogger, Samantha (below). She probably thinks I’m crazy because I was so excited. Lol!! Isn’t she beautiful?
For the festive season, I opted for a black, midi pleated skirt and a frill polka dot blouse. Festival calls for comfort in my style book and that is the route I took. The highlight of the look is probably the colourful earrings. I got these from my visit in Ghana years ago. Isn’t it lovely?
Enjoy some shots and hope you’re Fall ready.
What trend are you looking forward to trying?
Thanks much for your visits and meaningful comments. Hope your week goes well.
